Camp Phoenix meeting 6/5/15 Schedule for the weekend (see
attached)
o Friday: ! Wear CP t-shirt on Friday so the parents / kids know
who you are ! If campers come on the day of the event with their
forms, they will have to wait for the Camp Drs to review the form
~4 PM ! Rule #1 : can never be alone with a child always have a
second adult ! Counselors jobs: keep kids busy and move supplies
to lobby and on the bus ! Every counselor must be in the Olin gym
by 4 PM but earlier is better get there as soon as you can ! Pack
the bus first and then the kids ! On the bus: Will have a movie for
each ride. Snacks and water will be provided ! Rule #2: disperse
yourselves on the bus and at dinner ! Go over the behavior
rules
Steps for discipline, (beyond step 2: performed by Olivia and
Josh) o Verbal warning o 15 minute time out o call parent or
guardian o camper is removed from activity o camper is sent
home
! Men can never be in a girls cabin, women can never in a boys
cabin
o Saturday: ! Breakfast: kids make a song/joke while waiting for
food ! Morning activities: 2 counselors to run each station
Nathaniel and Tim sports Ali and Amanda arts and crafts Rhiannon
and Sarah pool
o Counselors are allowed to swim- but bring appropriate bathing
suits o Other counselors travel from station to station with their
assigned campers
! Messy Olympics: human sundaes : they get us dirty, BRING
CLOTHES
YOU DONT CARE ABOUT ! Movie night: teens watch Country Strong,
some counselors have to supervise the younger kids in the
cabins
