CELINA DI PISADESIGNER

Art and languages were her favorite subjects. At the age of 17 she started writing andcollaborating with magazines as a free-lance journalist.

EntrepreneurshipAt 23 she co-founded one of the first venture backed IT internet companies in Italy(Direct.it). With her Australian partner, they grew the company, won awards, were in-terviewed by the most prestigious magazines, travelled the world and loved learninghow to run a business.

Art, Design, WritingAfter 7 years they sold the company. Celina decided to dedicate herself to design &creativity. She co-founded Decoupage Italia, the Italian Guild of decoupage andstarted to write a series of (14) books on decorative techniques. She conducted a craftTV series, and designed decoupage and scrapbooking papers that were distributed in-ternationally (1 million copies sold). She also collaborated with Home and Craft ma-gazines with articles & projects.

AustraliaShe moved to Sydney in 2008 and started to miss all the fashion vibe and abundance that was surrounding her in Italy. She missed beautiful shirts that madeher feel a million dollars. So Camixa was born. Celina designs all the shirts and polosand goes to Italy to personally follow the production runs, and search out new fabricand accessories suppliers.
