to the southeast by Gingoog Bay and to the east by Butuan Bay.

Camiguin is the smallest province in Northern Mindanao, with its land

area pegged at 29,187 hectares. It is composed of five towns, namely,

Mambajao – the capital town, Mahinog, Guinsiliban, Sagay and

Catarman.

The island plays host to seven volcanoes, including the still-active Mount Hibok-Hibok. According to the National Statistics Office,

Camiguin has a total population of 74,232 persons, making the

province the second smallest in the Philippines in terms of

population.

Katibawasan Falls(Located: 5 kms southeast of Mambajao)

A beautiful, clear stream of water cascading 70 meters into a rock pool surrounded by ground

orchids, wild ferns, tress and boulders. Its cold

water provides a refreshing summer splash

to bathers.

ARDENT HOT SPRING(Located: 6 kms Southwest of Mambajao)

The water of the Ardent Hot Spring is 40°C warm. It is heated by the volcanic activity of Mount Hibok-Hibok. There are several

pools and a large recreation area.

BURA SODA WATERSWIMMING POOL

(Located: Bura, Catarman)

The one and only in the country where you can swim to a pool of soda water. It has great scenery over the fields and the

seas as its cold water provide a refreshing splash to bathers.

STO. NIÑO COLD SPRING(Located: 4 kms north of central Catarman)

It has a terrific huge pool of cold spring water measuring 25m x 40m

sprouting from sandy bottom.

WHITE ISLAND(Located: 2 kms across the sea from Agoho and Yumbing)

An uninhabited white sandbar with the picturesque Mt. Hibok-Hibok and Old Volcano as its backdrop. It is ideal for

swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling and etc.

MANTIGUE ISLAND(Located: 3 kms offshore across from Hubangon and San

Roque in Mahinog)

The island is 4 hectares of evergreen forest, fringed with white granule sand beaches. A fishing village is found in the

north of the island. One side of the island is a white sand beach with coral offshore.

SUNKEN CEMETERYLocated: Gui-ob, Bonbon, Catarman

A large white cross marks a cemetery swept into the sea by Old Vulcan Daan's eruption in 1871. Years ago, gravestones were visible during low tide. From here it is a perfect place to watch

the wonderful sunset over the ocean.

TANGUINES LAGOON(Located: Benoni, Mahinog)

It is a lagoon mantled by limpid water, with large cliff and gently rolling hills. The brackish water is engulfed

in there by a century old crater, ideal for boat and fishing. In 2012, another tourist interest was opened to public which is ziplining that can be experienced to

its total extreme.
