A Report

Day 1: 20-01-2021 – Inauguration & Audition for Dance, Singing, Acting, Story writing.

The workshop was inaugurated on Wednesday, 20th Jan, 2021 at 11:00 AM .The workshop

started with an invocation song by Ms.Sakshi of B Sc final year. Smt. Uma Minajigi, Head

department of Commerce & Management Welcomed the gathering and gave a keynote address.

Ms.Aarati of BBA second year introduced the chief guests.

The workshop was inaugurated by Sri. Rajesh Mane, Retd Chief Engineer, Railway

Department. Sri. Rajesh Mane, also worked as Associate Director and as an actor in Doordarshan

serials. He is certified Director from IFTDA film institute Mumbai. Sir, inaugurated the workshop by

watering the plant and gave inaugural address. He encourage the girl students towards acting,

direction, script writing, camera etc.

Sri. Vaibhav Keskar, CEO & Founder , Manomay Productions LLP and the resource person,

spoke on the occasion and explained his work and further plans of the workshop.

Dr.Rajendra Konda, Principal gave the presidential remarks, followed by vote of thanks by

Ms.Homai.

Auditions for Dance, Singing, Acting, Story writing commenced after a short lunch break. Sri. Rajesh

Mane & Sri.Vaibhav Keskar took the auditions.

Day 2: 21-01-2021 – Training

All the interested students were selected. They were divided into four groups. The main topic chosen

was Nari Shakti. Firstly, all the group members were asked to come up an idea of stories depicting

Nari Shakti. All the groups explained their story and finalized their characters with the help of

Vaibhav and his team. Training of acting, direction, script writing and camera were given throughout

the day.

Day 3: 22-01-2021 – Training & Shooting

From morning 9 am to 6 pm, each group started the making of their own series, shooting, direction,

make-up, editing etc.

Day 4: 24-01-2021 – Editing

On the last day students were taught about the editing, mixing etc.

It was followed by Valedictory function.

The Valedictory started with an invocation by Sakshi, and Welcome speech with report reading by

Smt. Uma Minajigi.

Short Film Presentation – Written, Directed & Acted by VGW Students under the guidance of

Mr.Vaibhav & Team. All the four mini series – Dark Days, H2SO4, Navratri & Sapno ki Udaan were

shown.

Later, Chief Guests Introduction and Felicitation by Ms. Basamma and Bharati. Pariticipants gave

their feedback about the workshop. Followed by Feedback by Sri.Vaibhav Keskar, CEO & Founder ,

Manomay Productions LLP. Chief Guest Speech by Sri.Prabhakar Joshi, Director, Rangayana,

Kalaburagi. Dr.Sudha Halkai, President, Rotary Club Midtown, Kalaburagi spoke on the occasion.

Dr.R B Konda, Principal gave the presidential remarks.Vote of thanks by Ms.Suma, BBA Ist Sem.

Anchoring was by Ms.Homai of B Sc final year.
