Students from all over the world travel to Australia to study at AIPE. This means that our English language classes have a great mix of nationalities. Students choose to study in Australia because of the educational support available, and this is something we pride ourselves on at AIPE. International students have many personal and academic rights protected under Australian law.
IELTSAIPE has developed two English language courses designed to prepare students for the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test: IELTS Preparation and Advanced IELTS. While students have the option of focusing on the General Training or Academic IELTS test, the course has an academic focus.

Be fully prepared to sit the Cambridge First Certificate exam with our course. Benefit from expert tuition to develop your English language skills and exam techniques for the best chance of success in this internationally-recognised exam. During the course, you’ll have the opportunity to practise specific skills through various assessment tasks including dictionary work, vocabulary expansion and reading skills, as well as listening, speaking, writing and grammar practice.

AIPE’s IELTS Preparation course is a comprehensive introduction to the IELTS test format, which will introduce you to skills and strategies needed to be successful in your studies. We develop these skills through a broad range of speaking, listening, reading and writing activities, while building vocabulary through a variety of classroom tasks and exercises. The course caters to students who will sit the General Training test or Academic test and are aiming to achieve an IELTS band score of 5.5 or 6.0.

AIPE and TechnologyAIPE provides a sophisticated educational environment both online and on-campus. A key component of this is the use of StarBoard software by Hitachi.
AIPE is a leader in the use of education technology with its use of StarBoard interactive whiteboard technology.
Every classroom at AIPE includes an interactive whiteboard, which enables the teacher to create an excellent learning environment for students, making learning enjoyable and meaningful.
The interactive whiteboards allow for connection to the Internet and databases so that teachers can ensure the information provided in their lessons is up to date. They can also save and email to students any work produced on the whiteboard so that students always have a record of their classwork.
GENERAL ENGLISH (Beginner to Advanced)

Enjoy the freedom to speak English confidently in everyday situations with AIPE’s General English courses. Learn English language skills to communicate on a day-to-day basis when you’re shopping, working, socialising and travelling. In this fun and interactive course, you’ll gain fluency in the core skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking while at the same time strengthening your vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar.
Students are placed in a morning or evening class as per the AIPE current timetable. If you get a job, it may be possible to change your timetable from morning to afternoon or evening class, subject to your English language level and space availability.
ENGLISH for BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS (EBP) » CRICOS CODE: 070898F
Ensure your language skills are broadened to include English in a business context with our English for Business Professionals (EBP) course. Learn how to communicate effectively in a wide range of business situations with language specifically used within various areas of business including management, marketing, finance, customer service, team building and human resources. Our EBP course will teach you the language skills and knowledge you need to communicate and engage with others in a business environment.

You’ll sharpen your academic English skills with AIPE’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP) course. Learn how to write great academic essays, analyse detailed information and perfect your note-taking skills – all essential for succeeding in any university course. At AIPE, we have developed two levels, both focused on developing your academic English skills and preparing you for further study at a university or college: English for Academic Purposes 1 (EAP 1) and English for Academic Purposes 2 (EAP 2). Entry is based on a student’s language proficiency.
