Video Simplicity at Scale

Calypso delivers live and on-demand video to your workforce with minimal IT intervention and without overwhelming your network. Calypso’s player-based stream redistribution technology gives you the benefits of multicast without the IT hassle when delivering live video to broad internal audiences. To extend the viewing experience to other offices, create your own delivery network with Calypso Gateway servers. Once installed within remote facilities, the Calypso Gateway acts as a proxy cache to the main Calypso system, creating network locations to automatically redirect users to access VOD assets from the nearest cache location.

Authentication and Compliance

Calypso’s authentication features allow you to securely share video with the right viewers. Content administrators from any department can easily share content with individuals or groups, and based on their roles and responsibilities, establish different privileges (viewing, downloading, sharing, editing, etc.). For organizations that need to report and document employee compliance with important corporate training, communications, regulations and standards, such as ISO, Calypso’s reporting ensures that managers and business decision makers know who watched what content and when.
