The first shipment of University of Oklahoma Commemorative Plates made by theWedgwood Company, of England, has arrived in Oklahoma . Advance orders weresufficient to exhaust the entire first shipment .

However, another shipment of 161; plates is due to arrive in Oklahoma soon, accord-ing to best information available from the importers . Shipments are on an irregularschedule, due to war conditions, but so far there has been so serious disruption ofshipping between England and New York . The second shipment of O.U . plates willbe exactly like the first shipment-all are "First Edition" plates with a special backstamp that will not appear on later editions . The plates are 10%2 inches in diameter,framed by Wedgwood's time-honored "Patrician" border, with an original drawingof the University Administration Building in the center of Staffordshire red .
