Benevolence If you would like to help meet the needs within our body for those who are experiencing financial difficulties, please indicate “benevolence” with your contribution. If you are aware of any specific benevolence needs within the body please contact the following Deacons;  Steve Dwyer, Donald Avery, or Mark Sanderson.

Write-Way Prison Ministries Please note that today after the Worship Service we will once again be signing Easter Cards and then sending them to inmates in Texas and Louisiana that we serve. Please plan to attend right after Church in the Worship Center and bring your best Penmanship.

Biblical Counseling If you or someone you know would benefit from Biblical Counseling, please call the church office at (936) 582-1977.

LBC Kids Ministry We have more service opportunities in the LBC Kids Ministry. We presently have the following immediate needs:

• Caregivers for the Toddlers on Wednesday nights once every five weeks

• A teaching team for the Pre-K class each week during Equipping Hour

• Substitutes we can call on as needed

Please prayerfully consider jumping in to help care for and shepherd the souls of all the children God has blessed us with here at LBC.

It’s time for our annual Student Ministry Garage Sale! Help students get to Camp Revive this summer by donating gently used items for us to sell on Saturday, April 9th.  All proceeds will be applied towards the student’s cost to attend

summer camp. This year, we’ll be politely declining donations of clothes and books! Please plan on bringing your items to the church in the afternoon on Friday, April 8th.  We can send a team of people to pick up larger items from you if you aren’t able to bring them by. You can call the church office or e-mail Charla Coleman at charla@lakesidebiblechurch.org to schedule a pickup.

Our 13th Annual LBC Invitational is a great opportunity to invite your unbelieving friends and co-workers to play a round of golf and to hear the gospel presented through the personal testimony of our special guest speaker David Moss. He is President of HIS PRINT Ministries and Director of The Gathering of Men Houston since 2013. David moved to Houston in January of 1989 to become the Assistant Athletic Academic Director at Rice University and Assistant Baseball Coach. After 11 years at Rice, David stepped off the college campus to co-own and operate Texas Baseball Academy. This allowed him to teach the game he loved; baseball. Approached by Houston Baptist University in 2008, he became the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance & Academics and helped lead HBU Athletic Department from NAIA to NCAA Division 1. He has been married to Debbie for 25 years and has two sons, Grant and Clay.
