    General description

For a given ISDN number, the Call Forwarding Busy(CFB) service (including options) may be subscribed tofor each basic service to which the user(s) of the numbersubscribes, or collectively for all the basic services to which the

user(s) subscribes. Since subscription is on an ISDN numberbasis, the same call forwarding subscriptions will apply toall terminals using this number.

The served user can request a different forwarded-tonumber for each basic service subscription parameter value towhich he has subscribed.

An indication that the CFB service is activated on anumber may, as an option, be given to the user who hasforwarding activated, each time an outgoing call is made. This

    Procedures for Call Forwarding

The first thing you will need to know whenusing the call forwarding feature is the specific code used by yourcarrier. If you have the manual that came with your cell phone, you can search for it there. On most cell phones, like the Motorola

Razr or Apple's iPhone, you can access call forwarding via thephone's menu.

For LAN lines, most home and business phonesuse either *72 or *73 as the code to begin the call forwardingprocess. If neither of these codes work, call the operator from thephone you wish to forward from. They should be able to tell youthe code and confirm you have the feature available.
