29th National Selection Conference | Call for Officials

Dear EYP Alumni,
The European Youth Parliament Greece is proud to open the Call for Officials for the 29th
National Session of EYP Greece!
The 29th National Selection Conference of EYP Greece will be held in the city of Athens
from the 5th to the 7th of April 2014 under the theme of “Decoding the digital era; securing
safety in communication”. The session will be presided by Mr. Vivek Gathani (UK) and head
organised by Ms. Emy Mylona (GR) and Ms. Danae Tselou (GR).
We are now looking for 3 Vice-Presidents, 17 Chairpersons, 1-2 Editors, 1 Video Editor, 1
Editorial Assistant, 10 Journalists and 15 organisers to join the officials’ team.
The session will be attended by 120 delegates from Athens and its suburbs working in 10
committees and participating in one day of Teambuilding, one day of Committee Work and
one day of General Assembly (5th to 7th April 2014). There will also be one day of CJO
Teambuilding and Training prior to the session (4th April 2014).
There is a participation fee of 25 Euros for international officials and 35 Euros for Greek
officials. Travel expenses to and from the session must be covered by the participants.
International officials are asked to arrive in Athens by the morning of Friday, 4th April 2014
in order to take part in the Officials’ Teambuilding and Training. Departures may take place
on Monday, 7th April 2014 from 21:00 onwards.
In order to apply, please fill out the application form. Applications should be sent to
[email protected] before Friday, 7th February 2014 23:59 CET. Late applications
will not be accepted. All applicants will be individually informed of the outcome of their
application once the selection process is completed.

The selection panel for the Vice-Presidents, Chairs and Editors of the session will consist of
the President of the Session (Vivek Gathani), the Head Organisers of the session (Emy
Mylona and Danae Tselou) and the President of EYP Greece (Marianna Georgiadi).
The selection panel for the members of the Media Team of the session will consist of the
President of the Session (Vivek Gathani), the Editors of the session (to be selected), the
Head Organisers of the session (Emy Mylona and Danae Tselou) and a member of the Board
of EYP Greece (Ilias-Marios Oikonomou).
The selection panels for the Organising Team will consist of the Head Organisers of the
Session (Emy Mylona and Danae Tselou) and a Member of the Board of EYP Greece
(Dionysios Theodoropoulos).
