important research area. It provides the finest and the fastest way
for solving thetypical problems. Designing, developing,

excellent approachis needed? As software development plays a major
role for successfully run of information systems and also a good
segment of researchers are focusing on this area. Although this
field is mature with many aspects but the main issue with this
technology is related to its concrete link between software
development and information systems, as it is highly important
factor as of all functional requirements based on it. Researchers
suggested so many different ways for the best useof information
systems and software developments. But it still need to be consider
more, for getting more accurate and precise results by applying new
trends and techniques including merging the concepts of
both.Objective of the Book:This book aims to provide a

software processes, functional and non-functional requirements,
managing software development and software quality, metrics and
technology. In addition Software Development Techniquesfor

includes methods, techniques and technology to better engineer
software and manage its development. It will extend the growing
literature on the emerging technologies and innovations in the

Design.There is a need for recent edited book that focuses in
merging the concept of information systems and software development
perspectives. Some edited books focusin each perspective
individually. However, merging both perspectives gives a cl
ear view about the current and future developments in
information system and software development.Target Audience:This

Submission Procedure:Researchers, practitioners and
professionals are invited to submit on or beforeFebruary 29, 2012,
a chapter proposal, maximum three pages long, clearly explai
ning the topic and objectives of their proposed chapter. The
proposal should bein Word or PDF format and should be sent to
[email protected] or on any one of book editors email address.
Authors of accepted proposals will be notified by March 15, 2012
about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines if
the proposal is accepted. Full chapters are to be submitted by
April 30, 2012. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a
double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to
serve as reviewers for this project.Publisher:This book is
scheduled to be published by IGI Global, publisher of the
Information Science Reference (formerly Idea Group Reference),
Medical Information Science Reference, Business Science Reference,
and Engineering Science Reference imprints. Foradditional
