Evolution Pilot Pins are made out of quality drill rod, hardened and tempered tough. The pilot pins are precision ground to hold a ten thousandth tolerance for a wobble free fit in the annular cutter. Our Pilot Pins provide 3 distinct functions:• Center the location to position an annular cutter for cutting accuracy.• Acts as a valve for turning the flow of coolant on and off.• Ejects the slug of material out of the annular cutter that remains after the hole is cut.

eVOlUtIOn CUtteR COOlantNow you can extend the life of your annular cutters and get more value for money. Evolution offers high quality water soluble synthetic cutting fluid. When mixing for use the recommended ratio is one part coolant to 10 parts water.

Available sizes are 1 pint, 1 quart, 1 gallon and 5 gallons. Use Edge Cream or Lube Tube with Evolution Magnetic Drilling Systems when gravity force is not available.

I was skeptical at first, but having used my RAGE3 10” Multipurpose Sliding Mitre Saw for three months I can only look to upgrading to the double bevel.

we build props, displays and monuments for theme parks and casinos in cities the world over. we have a steel band saw and 14" abrasive saw, but the cuts were inaccurate and the edges always required too much cleanup.

we secured a contract to build the front end of a full-scale locomotive with a round pipe cowcatcher that was entirely comprised of serious compound cuts. I did some research and decided to try a RAGE3-dB 10" Multipurpose double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw thinking if it didn't work, I could find another use for it. To say I was highly skeptical would be an understatement.

The unit arrived in good shape, read the manual and put a piece of 1-1/2" thick wall pipe in it and BAM! The thing cut quickly, coolly and cleanly.

In short, we were blown away. we ended up making over 100 pipe cuts off the stock blade and went on to use it for the trim as well.

I wish I would have had this tool 25 years ago when I started the business.

I’ve been building many things using the RAGE2 I can’t find a problem with it at all! Now I’m in need of my first replacement blade after 2 years! I’ve been building motor homes, using wood and steel frames, and I’m also now putting together a v8 Trike that’s taking its time to build.

The saw is very handy for cutting steel tube for building tail pipes and it cuts the angles perfectly. I normally have loads to say if something doesn’t work right but the RAGE 2 is just brilliant. I was even cutting thick steel blocks and it just did it with no problems.

I was told when I got the saw that it is only good for thin steel. well, it will cut bigger stuff as well. No problems. very happy!

I’m a kitchen remodeler and I use my RAGE 7-1/4” Multipurpose Circular Saw daily to cut wood, aluminum, steel and the odd nail or screw when lifting floorboards. I’m on my second saw because I broke the first one, by accidentally standing on it and twisting the base assembly.

I bought the first one because I had a job fitting over 100 sheets of Fermacell board, which is a board similar to plasterboard but with far superior technical characteristics; it’s heavier, more difficult to cut, very dusty when being cut and generally an all around pain. The dust collector on the RAGE saw, although small really did work and the amount of dust produced when cutting this stuff was drastically reduced.

The reason I chose it ‘twice’ was the dust collection facility. when cutting chipboard worktops the amount of wood chippings are incredible and anything to minimize the mess in customers’ homes is a good thing.

I’ve found the thin kerf blade a real bonus in all materials, less effort required to get it through some quite heavy-duty material. Just the other day I had to cut and size a number of 1-3/4” thick solid walnut worktops. No problem for the RAGE, breezed through them like a knife through butter.

It’s a great tool and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others or get another when this one eventually bites the dust.

I bought my RAGE3 10” TCT Multipurpose Sliding Miter Saw in February and it has to be said it’s the most versatile Compound Sliding Miter Saw I have ever used.

I am a Handyman and use the RAGE3 Miter Saw for various applications. I mainly use it for cutting skirting board, door architrave, cutting wood for stud walls, decking, floorboards, laminate floors etc.

I also find it most useful to cut 1-1/4” – 1-5/8” plastic waste pipe when I do plumbing, along with 4-3/8” soil pipe. due to the design of the blade it is also ideal for cutting the plastic tile trim as it allows you to get a good clean cut with no shattering.

My brother-in-law and I made this bowfishing platform with help from my newly purchased Rage 3 saw. It is made of 100% aluminum. we used the saw to cut the miter cuts and the straight cuts. we were impressed with the speed of the saw. we didn’t have to force the saw, it just cut at its own speed. we found very little cleanup on the pieces. In the past we were using a bandsaw that had an oil based coolant. Like with most welding, that oil sure caused some poor welds if it wasn’t cleaned off. I really can’t say enough about the saw. MaterIals Cut

Dry Cut Chop Saws, utilizing carbide tipped blades, are able to effectively cut most strengths of steel, aluminum and stainless steel.

sPeeD

Dry Cut chop saws can cut steel 3-4x’s faster than an abrasive saw.

Dry Cut chop saws create very little heat. This allows the material cut to be handled quickly instead of having to wait for the metals to cool down.

Value

Abrasive discs wear down very quickly. This affects the cut being made, the depth of cut possible with each disc and the number of discs needed to complete a job. Generally, a single dry cut blade can last as long as 20 abrasive discs and maintain its quality throughout the life of the blade.

This also saves the user much time in not having to purchase new replacement abrasive discs and mount them on their abrasive saw.

QualIty

Dry Cut chop saws create a very clean cut, with very few burrs, making it possible to work with the materials quickly without having to prep the surface area.

Abrasive discs tend to create a lot of dust, fumes, smoke, fire and sometimes have been found to explode. Dry Cut saws produce very few sparks, create little heat and are a lower health risk, making it a safer alternative over abrasives.
