Research that Spans Disciplines

INRF: Embrace novel fabrication and integration strategies across materials, scales, phenomena, and disciplines. BiON:Target medical device industry and biological research community. Develop non-planar, non-dry processes. Utilize organic materials (collagens, matrigel, hydrogels, proteins).

A shared‐user facility consists of Calit2 Microscopy Center and Materials Characterization Center offering a wide range of materials characterization 

instrumentation and techniques.
