Big Tooth Tiger Found!
The Smilodon was a saber tooth cat related to a lion. He lived in North and Sound America. We found a lot in California. He lived in the late Ice Age and went extinct 11,000 ago. He had big teeth that were up to 7 inches long. They spang on their prey with their strong hind legs but couldn’t run fast. It was a carnivore which means it only eats meat.

Mammoth Alert!
Mammoth were Ice Age mammals. who lived in Siberia 2,000,0009,000 years ago. They were herbivores which means they only ate plants.
They were 9 to 15 ft. tall. Their tusks were 17 ft. long. They were related to modern day elephants. They died because they couldn’t adapt to the
warmer climate.
Look Out! It’s a Giant Sloth!
The Megatheron was a giant sloth that lived in South America. It went extinct 11,000 years ago. It had 3 small curved claws that were as long as a man’s forearm, They were a quadralupe (they walked on 4 legs). It may have stood up on it’s hind legs to eat off of trees and may have used it’s tail for balance. They were 20 feet long and were bigger than a mammoth.
