INSPIRATIONAL PERFORMANCES

There are the big showcase events, of course: our concert series Loughborough Schools present: highlights each faculty and gives pupils of all ages the chance to come together to make terrific music. Our Spring Concert this year (Festivo!) will involve around 400 performers, and takes place on the same day as Sing2020, where we are working with local primary schools and the Voices Foundation to engage lots of children in high-quality music making.

2019-2020 will be a bumper year for Music at the Loughborough Schools Foundation. With concerts great and small, both within the Schools and further afield, featuring musicians at every stage of their individual musical journeys, the richness and diversity of musical life here will be proudly and very frequently displayed.

We look forward to welcoming musicians both local and from further afield to our Loughborough Music Competitions in February and are delighted that LCM Exams will be offering category winners the chance to sit a practical music exam, whatever the level, completely free of charge.

Our Enhanced Music Programme sees internationally renowned musicians coming to work with our pupils and staff to raise the standard of music making still further. These events are free of charge and open to the public, so do join us and discover the full range of music making that we enjoy at the Loughborough Schools Foundation.
