Volunteer sign-ups will be coming to you soon for help with installing our NEW PLAYGROUND in June!! Keep an eye on your email for this and you can be a part of helping install it! We will need a lot of parent volunteers!!

Parent Auction Fundraiser

The Sunnyslope Auction is coming soon on Friday, May 11th at the Easy Street Loft right here in Sunnyslope. We invite you to come and enjoy good company, wonderful food, and spectacular silent and live auctions all to benefit our kids! Look for more information coming home soon!!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

Barnes & Noble Book Fair Sunnyslope Elementary PTSA will be hosting a Barnes and Noble Book Fair on Wednesday, June 6th. This will be your chance to pick up some summer reads and help our Librarian, Mrs. Wendt purchase new books for our school library.

Lost and Found

Just a reminder that our lost and found items will be donated at the end of the school year. Please stop in

and look to see if your child has an item there. The lost in found is located in the hallway near Peters Street.

Notes from the School Nurse

Reminder to Parents of 5th graders

Schedule your TDAP! As you and your student prepare for the transition to Middle School, please remember that your student will be required to have documentation of the TDAP vaccine (or exemption, signed by parent and health care provider), typically given at age 11 years. The TDAP is a booster, following the series of DTAP shots, which were given before your child started school. The TDAP protects your child from tetanus and diphtheria, and those around him/her from whooping cough. Please do not wait until the end of summer to get this taken care of. Thank you!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Taylor Mason, RN School Nurse 679-4207
