1. J&K Police Public School, Miran Sahib, Jammu switched over to CBSE in April-2018 & J&K Police Public School, Bemina, Srinagar switched over to CBSE in November-2018.

2. Time to time sanctions for purchase of required infrastructure to all the Police Public Schools was accorded.

3. Salary and other benefits of staff members of Police Public Schools were enhanced.

Police Public Mela at Jammu wherein gift prizes worth Rs.1.34 crore were distributed.

FIGHT AGAINST CRIME, DRUGS

1. More than 23500 criminal cases registered in the police stations of Kashmir and Jammu Zone.

2. 12900 cases including sensational and blind murder cases investigated and challaned for judicial determination.

3. 2000 Police Community Partnership Group meetings held at different levels.

4. 28 cases were challaned for judicial determination and 47 accused got convicted including four persons with rigorous imprisonments by Crime Branch.

5. Drive against drugs launched and a large cache of narcotics and other substances seized.

6. 817 cases registered under NDPS Act and 1137 persons, indulging in the trade arrested.

7. 23 drug peddlers convicted and 12 peddlers detained under PSA.

WELFARE OF NOKs OF MARTYRS/ SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POLICE WARD

1. Over 29 crore sanctioned for the NOKs of deceased police personnel, police martyrs as Special Welfare Relief from Contributory Police Welfare Fund.

2. Over 4.72 crore ex-gratia released in favour of police martyrs and the personnel injured in law & order situations.

3. 191 compassionate appointment cases finalised.

4. Free education, uniform, stationery, mess, hostel provided to martyr wards at Police Public School Srinagar/Jammu.

5. Rs. 35.5 lakh sanctioned as scholarship for 596 wards of police martyrs and deceased personnel.

6. Over rupees 73.5 lakh scholarships sanctioned for the meritorious wards of serving police personnel.

7. DGP's Special Reward sanctioned for 91 police wards for qualifying competitive examinations and excelling in academics.
