The JCAHC wanted to let everyone know that by supporting us with our basket auction, and helping us with our high point awards it gives us the opportunity to do things like this! This is a single mom who had lost her job and has a 14 year old son and was a referral from Jennifer Miller.
This is a letter from her thanking the JCAHC for their gift and support.
Dear Members of the Jr. Arabian Horse Club, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your gracious generosity this holiday season. My son and I are overwhelmed by your gift, the best Christmas we have had in over 10 years! We recently fell on hard times and were facing a very dismal holiday season and our hearts were filled with hope when we knew that perfect strangers were thinking about us. Tears of joy filled my eyes on Christmas morning. Everything we received was absolutely perfect and way beyond our expectations. Besides all the wonderful gifts we opened, I was able to get cloths that fit forinterviewing for new jobs and fill the pantry with food for several weeks. I was considering selling our home and your gift alleviated some of the financial pressure and allowing us to remain in our home. I am happy to report that my new interviewing cloths have helped me to find a new job! It will not be a full-time job for a little while, but I am very hopeful it will become full-time within a couple of months. We find it difficult to come up with words to express our gratitude! We would like to donate to your club for this wonderful gift for next year. Please keep in contact so we can play a part in helping another family next holiday season.
