Ingredients Crouton Ingredients: 2 cups French or Italian bread cut into 1 inch cubes 2 Tbsp olive oil 1 Tbsp fresh grated parmesan cheese 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/8 tsp black pepper Instructions To make croutons: • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit • In a mixing bowl combine bread cubes, olive oil, parmesan cheese, salt, garlic powder and pepper. Toss well. • Transfer bread to a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until lightly browned. • Carefully remove from oven and cool before adding to the caesar salad. To make dressing: • In a medium sized mixing bowl combine mayonnaise, sour cream, parmesan cheese, water, lemon juice, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, salt and black pepper. • Whisk well and set aside To make your salad: • Tear lettuce into bite sized pieces and use a salad spinner to remove all water. • To a large mixing bowl, combine lettuce, parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup Caesar dressing, pepper, croutons and optional chicken and bacon. •Toss all ingredients well.
