ECE has two state of the art training rooms - One located in our Houston Office and One located in our Chicago Office. You can come to one of our
regularly scheduled classes or contact us to reserve the room for your own needs. Our standard training classes are designed to bring awareness toapplication features and functions as well as teach the effective use of the latest CADWorx Plant and P&ID software as applied to plant design work. All
our classes are the best of their kind, placing a very strong focus on plant design using well-developed real-world examples. Training Classes are
priced at $500.00 per day.
Intergraph CADWorx Plant Design Suite Training
General Description: The CADWorx Plant Professional classes are designed to teach the effective use and functionality of the latest CADWorx Plant software,applied to plant design work. The User will learn how to make the most of the program's capabilities, such as quickly building and editingmodels in a 3D environment and generating 2D drawings and isometrics from them. The course also covers topics that, although not difficultin concept, can be time-consuming to learn on your own, such as specification management, program controls and settings. AlthoughCADWorx Plant is easy to use, there are many methods, tricks and techniques that will improve your productivity and your ability togenerate the drawings you need as efficiently as possible. This class is the best of its kind, placing a very strong focus on plant design usingwell-developed real-world examples.
Configuring working environment; basic software operation; creation of 3D piping, equipment, and steel models; effective modeling techniquesand model management; material management utilizing export, live database, and BOM back annotation in the drawing; 2D orthographicsutilizing 3D clipping, sheet set manager, and 2D representation; automatic isometric generation; specification and library basics; creation ofcustom components utilizing standard piping shapes, multi-end condition shapes, and user shapes.

General Description: The CADWorx Plant Update classes are designed to teach the new features and functionality of the latest upgrade to the CADWorx Plantsoftware. Day 1 of this training is focused on the new Catalog, Project and Specification Editor. On Day 2, the User will learn how to makethe most of the program's upgrades and enhanced capabilities such as the new pipe router and piping rules. This course also covers the newfeatures of the new Change Size Command, the new Change Spec Command and the drag and pull pipe modifications.

ISOGEN Basic Training
General Description: Isogen is built into CADWorx and mastering it takes years of experience. This class is designed to teach one how to set up, configure andproduce piping isometric fabrication drawings. It will begin by using the templates included with CADWorx to set up Isogen Styles. Fromthere the class will teach users how to customize the title blocks and bills of materials. It will then provide instruction on many configurationswitches in the options editor and some of the many of the Alternative Text entries that control the content and annotation on isometricdrawings. Finally, some methods and best practices associated with producing productions drawings will be taught.

CAESAR II Software Overview and Hands On "How-To" Training
The goal of this two day course is to get a firsthand look at the power of CAESAR II while demonstrating the ease-of-use. This course willprovide a two day basic overview of the software while giving the user the opportunity to have a hands on experience in running CAESAR II. Atthe end of the two days, each attendee will be left with the basic understanding of CAESAR II, how to build an accurate model, generatedetailed stress calculations and create the necessary deliverables for a stress engineer.
Overview:Day 1 (AM) - CAESAR II General Overview and Set-up: During this session, ECE will walkthrough CAESAR II and demonstrate the 'bestpractices' during set-up. This will include how to organize the software and files to insure smooth model creation.

Day 1 (PM) - CAESAR II Building a Basic Model: During this session, ECE will provide the necessary hands-on CAESAR II software training
to build a basic model. ECE will start from the beginning and go all the way through to generating stress calculations and the necessaryreports.
Day 2 (AM) - CAESAR II Building an Advanced Model: During this session, ECE will look at a more advanced model techniques in CAESARII including supports, restraints, spring hangers, etc. In addition, ECE will use this model to analyze and find the most optimized solution tomeet engineering requirements.
Day 2 (PM) - CAESAR II Deliverables: During this session,ECE we will finish up from our hands-on sessions and look at the deliverables thatare generated by CAESAR II
NOTE: This is not a Theory Course or a Detailed Technical Training class. This courseis a CAESAR II Softare Overview and How To coursefor a pipe stress engineer.
CAESAR II Statics and Dynamics Training
The CAESAR II Statics and Dynamics classes cover proper system modeling guidelines, methods of static and dynamic analysis of pipingsystems, evaluation of system designs, and effective approaches to system redesign. The course is broken down into half-day sessions,each covering a major topic. Each of these sessions include a lecture, or discussion followed by a 'hands-on' exercise which reinforces thesession topic. Each attendee with their own personal computer and a copy of the CAESAR II pipe stress analysis program for use during theseminar. The complete course lasts five days; three days for modeling and static analysis, and two days for dynamic analysis.
