LOGO CONFIGURATIONSThe vertical logo configuration is the preferred configuration and should be used whenever possible. The Crest and Script should never appear separate from each other.

The horizontal configuration should be used for space constrained areas where the vertical configuration cannot be used.

LOGO VARIATIONSThis chart displays the suite of Cadillac logo assets available for use. Please note that the logos shown here are the vertical configuration; however, the horizontal configurations have the same variations available. While not shown in the chart, there are also 1-color (grayscale) variations available.

LOGO CLEARSPACEClearspace is the minimum “breathing room” maintained around the logo to facilitate optimal legibility and stage presence. We define clear space as “X” (when “X” is equal to the height of the Cadillac Crest). Clearspace should always be at least 1X on all sides of the vertical and horizontal logo configurations. This amount of space may be increased whenever possible. Clearspace requirements are the same for all logo configurations and color variations.

LOGO FILE NOMENCLATURELogo artwork files are named so that you can easily find the right artwork for your needs. Once you have the required information for the application you’re creating (color, black and white, print vs. on-screen, and logo size), you’ll be able to quickly locate the right artwork file for your needs.

LOGO SIZINGThe Cadillac logo can be scaled up as large as needed, but it should never be used at sizes smaller than the recommended minimums shown here. There are 3 variations created to maintain legibility at specific size ranges. Be sure to use the correct logo for your needs.

VERTICAL CONFIGURATION• Textured - Sizes ≥ 2.375 inches / 355 pixels

• Simplified - Sizes ≥ 0.75 inches / 170 pixels

• Small Size - Sizes ≥ 0.375 inches / 64 pixels

HORIZONTAL CONFIGURATION• Textured - Sizes ≥ 4.625 inches / 686 pixels

• Simplified - Sizes ≥ 1.4375 inches / 330 pixels

CMYK and Grayscale versions of the logo have the same minimum size requirements. Make sure that you maintain the logo’s aspect ratio when scaling. Never create assets and only use approved electronic logo assets.

RGB LOGOSIn order to properly reproduce our logo onscreen, the RGB versions of our logo must be used. Refer to the logo sizing guide within this document to determine the correct logo variation to use (Textured / Simplified / Flat).

Although it is best use Vector artwork whenever possible, some onscreen applications may require use of a Raster image file (PNG, JPG). Raster files are provided within the logo suite for these situations.

Examples of onscreen applications are displayed in the column on the right.

Only use approved electronic assets.

LIMITED USE LOGOSThere may be instances where our preferred logos may not be suitable for the reproduction method, or are used in addition to distinguish our logo. In these cases we have created our limited use logos. These logos use the same minimum size as the Flat logo variation. There are three limited use varations:

• 1-Color Specialty - e.g. Embossing• Spot Color Alternate - e.g. Silkscreening• Spot Color Embroidery - e.g. Embroidery
