National Doctors’ Day—Saturday, March 30, 2019

In honor of National Doctors’ Day, we would like to recognize and thank you for all that you do every day to provide high quality care to your patients and our community. All too often, the services that you provide go unrecognized, and we want to make sure that we take this opportunity to let you know that you are an important member of our health care family and we appreciate you. On behalf of the Cadillac Hospital Board of Trustees, Employees, Volunteers, and Hospital Leadership, we thank you for the exceptional care that you provide to our community and the support that you give to our hospital. As a token of our appreciation, we will be distributing a small gift to each of you.

Thank you from our patients:

“I want to share the experience my wife and I had in your outpatient Surgery Department. We have always gone to MMC for our

medical care until recently. My wife came in for an outpatient procedure, and the care she and I received was exceptional.

Everything went well and they took great care of her and me! I told my wife when we returned home “If I fall off the porch

tomorrow take me to MHCH”! The layout was very accessible, everything was very clean – every room we went to was very clean

and nice. The people were awesome and my wife is doing great. In fact, I have her out cutting firewood today!! – just kidding! I

just wanted to call and compliment you for your exceptional care and service. Thank you.”

“Nicole Gill, ED NP, Thank you for your kindness and conversation during my recent visit. It was emotional and I felt alone. But

your warm smile and friendly energy made me feel like I had a friend. Welcome to Cadillac. I hope you love it and stay! You’re an

absolute gem.”

“’Gratitude is the memory of the heart. A heartfelt thanks for all you have done.’” To the Dear Staff at Munson Cadillac Hospital: First I’d like to say, in my 81 years, I’ve had a few stays in Hospitals and have never felt so cared for and cared about. March 2019 General Medical Staff Meeting

Save the Date! New Provider Reception

Wednesday, April 24, 2019 | 6:00 pm | Cadillac Grill

Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital Adding a Fifth Operating Room

New operating room will help meet increased surgical volumes, decrease patient scheduling wait times

Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital has begun construction on its surgical services area, adding a new operating room and equipment, increasing the total number of rooms to five.

The $1.4 million renovation project includes the addition of an operating room, replacement of aging equipment, and adds extra storage for the additional supplies necessary for the new room.

The addition of the new room will allow the hospital to continue to perform cataract surgeries and increase the number of surgeries in areas such as urology, general surgery, orthopedics, and podiatry. It will also increase the amount of operating hours available to schedule surgeries, which in turn will decrease wait time for patients needing to be scheduled.

Construction is slated to be finished by the end of April 2019.

This project is being funded by the Mercy Hospital Cadillac Endowment Fund. The board-designated endowment funds were first established by estate gifts made by Harvey Pell and John Outen.
