We are the fourth largest pharmaceutical company in India with sales of over Rs. 3600 crores in the year 2015. Zydus - Animal Health

Zydus - Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)

The API business has 5 manufacturing facilities; two each at Dabhasa (near Vadodara) and

and Ankleshwar are inspected by all major regulatory bodies of different countries including USFDA.

The facilities serve the requirement of internal (captive) as well as external (merchant) customers.

Zydus Research Centre - ZRC A state-of-the-art research wing of the Zydus Group, dedicated to high-end research in the field of

New Drug Discovery and Development, aims at achieving the company’s goal of alleviating human

suffering, and creating healthier and happier communities globally.

ZRC has complete preclinical capability for evaluation of safety and toxicity of NCEs, NBEs, generics,

impurities, similar biologics and vaccines, as per the requirements of various national and

international regulatory authorities. ZRC has facilities and capabilities for designing new drugs using

in silico methods as well as SAR-based approach.

ZRC is the first Pharmaceutical R&D Centre in the country that has indigenously discovered and

developed India’s first NCE and the first Glitazar class drug in the world. The compound is named

Saroglitazar and is available in the market as Lipaglyn for treatment of diabetic dyslipidemia and

hypertriglyceridemia uncontrolled by statins. ZRC has also developed and launched the first

biosimilar version of Adalimumab in the world.

Team Finance at Zydus strives to maximize the wealth of all stakeholders by facilitating

organizational growth with long term sustainable financial performance, supporting business

decisions by providing timely, accurate and relevant information, safeguarding the interest of the

organization as a custodian and ensuring high standards of corporate governance.

Team Finance is responsible for overall financial management of the Zydus group and covers a

whole gamut of areas including treasury and funds management, banking, forex and hedges,

statutory and management accounting, budgeting, costing, internal audit and controls, company

affairs and secretarial compliance, insurance, direct and indirect taxation, management of accounts

payables and receivables, et al. Apart from strategic financial management at corporate level, Team

Finance also supports the business verticals and other service units of the group, which includes

sales and marketing, manufacturing, R&D, through a separate Business Finance team.

A crew of over 130 qualified, highly motivated and charged up members armed with sound skills and

knowledge of different facets of financial management runs the show at the finance department.

To be a part of our Finance Team, you should ideally have an educational qualification in the

Commerce discipline. If you are a commerce graduate or Post Graduate, Chartered Accountant (CA),

Cost & Management Accountant (CMA), Company Secretary (CS), Chartered Financial Analyst

(CFA) or MBA/PGDM in Finance, you may apply for the openings in Finance department through the

To nurture talent from within and strengthen this diverse repository of knowledge and wisdom, a General Management Programme called ADAPT has been launched at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A). The programme aims to hone general management competencies and strengthen capabilities in functional domains. Spread across 2 years, ADAPT has a mix of lectures, case studies, group discussions and projects rooted to the current business scenario. This is a specially tailor-made programme and the 4th batch is currently underway.

- ADAPT @ MICA

ADAPT-Product Management Team (PMT) is a planned and structured process to develop the internal talent for PMT positions. This initiative is being conducted in association with MICA, the leading communications institute for advertising and branding. For the first batch, 25 potential field executives from IFB 1, IFB 2 (Indian Formulation Business), ZAH (Zydus Animal Health) Division and ZW (Zydus Wellness), aspiring for a career in product management were identified. The process of selection involved assessment in the areas of Branding and Marketing, Problem solving, Creativity and Communication skills to name a few. Followed by this, the participants are put through a training programme by internal faculty on various product management systems and processes. These

candidates are then placed in various marketing teams as Product Managers.
