DAY
CELEBRATIONS
The celebration of
Independence Day 2016 was
graced by the presence of
more than 500 students,
faculty members and staff
members at Prabha Bhawan.
The celebration of
Independence Day started
with the unfurling of the
National Flag by the Director,
Prof. A. B. Gupta, followed by
the National Anthem of India
and the parade by home
guards of the Institute. The
atmosphere was filled with
patriotic songs by the students.
After this, a speech was
delivered by the Director
followed by the distribution of
sweets.
2) 19/08/2016 CACS,
Dramatic
s Club
Stage Play 'Umeed Ek nayi subah ki ' was
organized by the Dramatics
Society at Mini Auditorium on
August 19, 2016. The play
tackled the issue of the
struggle between Maoists and
the government which has
caused a lot of misery and
apathy. They presented the
viewpoints on the issue from
various perspectives looking
out for a possible solution to
the problem.

Slogan Writing and
Debate
Competition
The Literary Society
organized a Slogan Writing
Competition and a Debate
Competition on August 22,
2016 on the theme of National
Independence.
The theme for the Slogan
writing competition was
decided on spot which related
to Indian Freedom Struggle
and Independence whereas the
Motion of Debate was “Can
Patriotism be taught in
Educational Institutions? “.

Society
Patriotic song
competition
A patriotic song competition
was organized on 23rd August
2016 by the Music Society
The competition was judged
by Dr. Bandana Chakraborty,
a well-known singer and Mr.
Karan Singh, a dynamic music
composer.
The judges added flavor to it
by their performances and
interacted with the students,
explaining to them the
intricacies of different ragas
and Hindustani classical
music.

Drug Awareness A seminar on
drug awareness was conducted
by Narcotics Control Bureau,
Ajmer, Department of Internal
Security, MHA, Government
of India at MNIT Jaipur on
10th September 2016
(Thursday). The seminar was
attended by more than 100
students and Faculty members.
The guest speakers were Mr.
Harish
Kumar, Superintendent, NCB
,Ajmer , Mr. Girdhari Lal,
Intelligent Officer, NCB,
Ajmer & Mr. Harish Bhutani,
President, Nav Viklap
Sansthan, (NGO).

Cleanliness Drive A cleanliness drive was
organized by National Service
Scheme-MNIT, Jaipur on
October 10, 2016, under the
aegis of 'Swachh Bharat
Abhiyan' in the campus during
the morning hours 8:00- 10:00
am. The event saw
participation of more than 100
B Tech and M Tech students
registered in the NSS wing of
MNIT Jaipur.

Campus Walk The Photography club
organised a " Campus Walk"
on the 17th September 2016 .
During this event the students
were given tasks to take
photographs inisde the campus
according to the decided
photography categories .

Fine Arts
Society
Kraftastic Fine Arts Society of creative
Arts and Cultural Society
organised a "Kraftastic" on the
19th September 2016.
Students were given different
colored kite papers. Using
them they had to make
different kinds of patterns by
cutting various types of shapes
from them on a rectangular
sheet of butter paper. All these
sheets were assembled in the
form of a 2D panel. About 80
students from first and second
year participated actively in
the competition. The event
aimed at involving students in
cultural activities and also the
stuff prepared became a major
-
part of decoration of the
Dandiya night - "GHUME
ENO GARBO".

Orientation SPIC MACAY society
organized an orientation
lecture on 23 September
2016.Prajjwal, SPIC MACAY
Jaipur coordinator took the
session based on the screening
of Charlie Chaplin. He also
told about the history of the
society, life style of members
and great artists who are
serving the society

Code Friday #1 Technical Society CACS
conducted intra-college online
competition first of its kind in
MNIT Jaipur on 23 September
2016 named “Code Friday
#1”. This is an online coding
competition. Competition was
open to all students. It was a 3
hour event based on four
problems on basic
programming and algorithms

24/09/2016 CACS Ghume Eno Garbo Creative arts and Cultural
Society, MNIT Jaipur
organized Dandiya night,
'Ghume Eno Garbo' that marks
the celebration of Navratri on
24th September 2016. This
event is a symbol of unity.
The fun and frolic event of
Dandiya night commenced
with the lighting of lamp and a
traditional puja. The total
attendance in the function was
1500 students.
Young boys and girls swirled
in graceful rhythmic Garba
and enthusiastically played
Dandiya.
The event was concluded by
the chief guests announcing
the 'Dandiya Titles' and
awarding prizes to the
winners.

GESELL-BOTS Technical Society, organized a
very unique event named
“GESELL-BOTS” for the
bright minds of M.N.I.T. to
showcase their innovative
technical ideas in the field of
Robotics.
PRE-MODEL-SHOW:
There was also a pre-show
organized on 24, September,
2016. In this, inspection of
bots was done by Meenakshi
ma’am and Prerna ma’am,
Faculty advisors of Technical
society. Teams were advised
for
betterment and future
developments in their
respective bot.

Photoshop
Workshop
The Technical society
conducted a Photoshop
workshop on the 19th of
September 2016 .
The event consisted of two
phases . The first phase
consisting of Photoshop
tutorial classes for Mnit
students . They were taught
various aspects and tools of
Adobe Photoshop PS5 . The
second phase consisted of of
an online assignment
submission and on - spot
Photoshop Designing event to
evaluate the designing skils .
14) 19/10/2016 CACS Orientation on
Blitzschlag
An orientation on Blitzschlag,
the annual techno- cultural fest
of the institute which is
scheduled from 24th – 26th
February, 2017 was held on
19th of October 2016.The
purpose of this event was to
introduce Blitzschlag to all the
students and to form different
teams like publicity,
marketing, hospitality,
management, etc.

Society
TEDx MNIT hosted its first ever
TEDx talk on 21st October
,2016 in the MNIT campus
itself. An initiative to create
and propagate ideas , the event
featured four distinguished
speakers from different walks
of life who shared their ideas
and experience with us. The
speakers included Dainik
Bhaskar's associate Vice
President of brand marketing
and a major cartoonist Mr
Vikas Singh , Roads safety
ambassador and social worker
Mr Chetan Pardeshi , debater
and news panellist Megha
Rathore and entrepreneur and
innovator Mr Rituraj Singh .
With each speaker speaking
for about 18 minutes. The
theme of the event was
“Singing a Different Tune”
and the speakers showcased
how daily things should be
approached with a fresh and
unique perspective. Two
official TED talk videos of Sir
Ken Robinson and Keith
Barry were also showcased.
The event started at 5:30 pm
and went on till 8:30 pm. The
tremendous response from the
students of the college
promiseed to make
TEDxMNITJaipur an annual
ritual for the years to come !

MNIT INTRA
MUN’16 Literary society conducted
MNIT INTRA MUN’16 on
22-23 October. An extensive
debate was held on both days
of the conference with
delegates discussing the
violation of human rights.

Mr.Raguveer Rathore on the
topic "Destiny-Make your
own decision" was conducted
on 24th October in Mini
Auditorium at 5 PM.

Sculpt The Fine Arts Society, CACS
organized the event namely
"SCULPT" on 24th and 25th
October 2016 on the theme
"Medieval Era." The students
were supposed to make a
sculpture out of Paper Mache.

Sargam: Gaata rahe
mera dil
Singing
Competition
Music And Dance Society,
MNIT Jaipur, organized a
Musical talent hunt based
competition- “Sargam: gaata
rahe mera dil 2016” on 26th
October 2016. The purpose of
organizing this event was to
tribute music as part of
customary lifestyle to nurture
student's talents and help them
grow. This program was
conducted in two stages viz.

CACS Unity Week To commemorate the
impeccable contribution of
Sardar Vallabhai Patel, the
Iron Man of India, who gave
the concept of Ek Bharat or
United India, the Creative Arts
and Cultural Society MNIT
Jaipur, organized a week -long
program of events. The
program was inaugurated by
the Director on the 31st
October, the birth anniversary
of Sardar Patel. This was
followed by the inauguration
of a "Pictorial Exhibition" and
"Display of Books” at the
Central Library of the institute
which continued for the whole
week. The week starting from
31st October to the 6th
November , termed as
Rashtriya Ekta Saptah was
flooded with a host of other
competitions including T-shirt
design, Short Clip, Drama,
Debate and Slogan writing,
All these competitions had the
theme of unification at the
center-stage. The patriotic
fervor ran high when the
institute organized the Unity
Run and the ceremony for the
Felicitation of Freedom
Fighters which involved mass
participation of all
stakeholders of the institute.

BITS Goa Trip Experiences build up our lives
- shape and carve our thinking
and personality. The trip to
Bits Goa for the prestigious
fest -Waves 2016 was
undertaken from 4th November
2016 -6th November 2016 was
an enriching experience in this
sense. Whether it be the
formal or informal
events, each and every
competition was another
challenge

Birth anniversary
of Pandit Madan
Mohan Malaviya
MNIT Jaipur celebrated 156th
birth anniversary of Pandit
Madan Mohan Malaviya on
25th December 2016. The
celebration was marked by the
inauguration of the ceremony
by offering flowers to
Malaviya ji by the Director,
Prof. Uday Kumar Yaragatti
and recitation of the poem,
‘Naman’
In his speech, Professor
Yaragatti, elaborated on the
life story of Madan Mohan
Malaviya and elaborated as to
how the ideologies of Pandit ji
can be imbibed in daily life for
a better life style. Prof. Dilip
Sharma, Dean (Student
Welfare) highlighted the
immense contribution of
Pandit ji in the field of
education.
24) 12/1/2017 CACS Bird Safety
Awareness
Workshop
The festival of Makar
Sakranti is celebrated on
January 14 every year. A
workshop to sensitize the
public about the injuries to
birds during the kite flying
festival and also to reduce
the possible damage to
these creatures was
organised. The workshop
to “Save Birds and Bird
Safety Awareness” was
organized in association
with Raksha NGO was held
on January 12, 2017 in the
Mini Auditorium The
students were made aware
about the harmful effects
of nylon and glass coated
abrasive string (also known
as ‘Chinese Manjha’) were
discussed and an appeal
for their disuse was made
to all present. Students
were also given hands on
experience in providing
first aid to the injured
birds.

Peace Rally for
bird safety
awareness
A peace rally was organized
on the morning of January
13, 2017 for creating
awareness for bird safety.
The walk took place around
Jawahar Circle. Posters and
pamphlets with helpline
numbers and kite flying
guidelines were distributed
to people around the circle
and in the park as well.
Volunteers including
students, faculty members
and staff participated
enthusiastically.
26) 26/1/2017 CACS Republic Day Prabha Bhawan witnessed
the celebration of the 68th
Republic Day on the 26th
January, 2017. Students,
Staff and Faculty members
filled with a feeling of
patriotism and dedication
gathered in front of the
building. The celebration
started with the hoisting of
the National Flag by the
Director,PROF.UDAYKUMAR
R YARAGATTI.

CACS Blitzschlag’17 MNIT Jaipur celebrated a 3
day long annual inter college
techno-cultural fest wherein
students from various
colleges of India took part in
the cultural and technical
events. In the day time,
various cultural and
technical competitions were
held which were followed up
by pronites. In the pronites,
performances by the likes of
Padma Shri Geeta Chandran,
Padma Shri Bhajan Sopari
and Armaan Mallik were
organized.

Presentation
Ceremony
The auspicious event of the
first ring ceremony for UG
and PG passing out batch
(2017) was held at MNIT on
April 21st 2017. It was a
unique and wonderful
initiative undertaken by our
honourable Director of
MNIT, Prof. Udaykumar R
Yaragatti. The event was
organized to render soulful
memories to the students
and with the aim to inculcate
positive vibes that institute
has as its heart.

Felicitation
Function
Technical Society CACS
MNIT Jaipur felicitated its
meritorious students on the
28th of April, 2017,
celebrating their astounding
success in the various
competitions organised by
the society in the academic
year 2016-2017. A total of
cash prizes worth Rs.
22500/- was awarded to the
winners. Along with this,
Chief Guest felicitated the
secretaries of team 2015-16
and current Secretary and
executive team 2016-17
with certificates and
goodies.
