TECHNICAL REPORT SHALL INVOLVE SUBSTANTIAL CALCULATIONS, e.g., Load calculations/load schedules/lay-out plans Transformer size determination Wire/feeder conductor size determination Circuit breaker/fuse rating determination Short circuit calculations Protection coordination Insulation coordination etc.

    2. PURELY NARRATIVE REPORT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE

    3. AVOID UNNECESSARY AND IRRELEVANT DATA INCLUDINGFIGURES/CHARTS/TABLES NOT REFERRED TO IN THE DISCUSSIONS Attach single line diagrams only that will be used in the discussions Specify references/sources of tables/graphs/charts

    4. AVOID PLAGIARISM If an author has written something particularly well, or their own words are for

    some reason significant, then put their words in quotes and give anappropriate citation

    Provide complete references to all works used, and cite these in thedocument where you use this information, USE FOOTNOTES, IFNECESSARY

    Summary This section shall be the one- or two-page EXECUTIVE SUMMARY of

    the Technical Engineering Report Body Text

    The main body of the report which shall include: Chapter 1 Introduction Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Etc.

    Conclusions/Recommendations These will be the last chapter/s of the TER

    Bibliography/References Affidavit of sole authorship Affidavit of PEE 1 Affidavit of PEE 2 Affidavit of PEE 3 Curriculum Vitae (w/ ID picture) use the Comprehensive Bio-data form

    9. THE PEE AFFIDAVITS SHALL SPECIFY EXPIRY DATE OF THE PRC LICENSECARD OF THE AFFIANTS Attach a copy of the PRC license card of the affiant after the PEEs affidavit in

    the Technical Engineering Report The PEE Affidavits in the PDF copy of the Technical Engineering Report must

    be notarized (as in the hardbound copy)

    10.ATTACH THE LATEST PICTURE IN THE COMPREHENSIVE BIODATA FORM(WEARING COAT & TIE AND TAKEN NOT MORE THAN SIX [6] MONTHSFROM THE DATE OF FILING OF THE APPLICATION)

    11.MAKE THE NUMBER OF PAGES OF THE TECHNICAL REPORT THE LEASTPOSSIBLE (THE BOARD IS NOT IMPRESSED WITH A VERY THICK REPORT)

    13.PROOFREAD YOUR WORK! NOTHING LOOKS LESS PROFESSIONAL THANA DOCUMENT FILLED WITH SPELLING ERRORS, MISSING WORDS,SENTENCE FRAGMENTS, MISSING FIGURES, WRONG GRAMMAR, ETC. Make sure of the correct page layout/sequence prior to bookbinding

    14.THE EXAMINEE SHALL SUBMIT FIVE (5) SETS OF THE TECHNICALREPORT (within six (6) months from approval) Four (4) sets to be retained by the PRC/BEE One (1) set to be returned to the applicant stamped as RECEIVED COPY

    15.THE EXAMINEE SHALL ALSO SUBMIT A SINGLE-FILE PDF COPY (ORSCANNED COPY IN PDF FORMAT IN A SINGLE-FILE) OF THE COMPLETETECHNICAL REPORT (INCLUDING ATTACHMENTS SUCH AS GRAPHS,TABLES, DIAGRAMS, ETC.) SAVED IN THREE (3) USB FLASH DISKS (NOT ACD NOR A DVD!)

    16.THE PEE APPLICANT SHALL WEAR FORMAL ATTIRE, PREFERABLY COAT& TIE, DURING THE ORAL EXAMINATIONS

    17.BRING CALCULATOR AND THE LATEST EDITION OF PEC (2009 EDITIONFOR PEC 1 AND 2008 EDITION FOR PEC 2) DURING THE ORALEXAMINATIONS

    18.FOLLOW THE FORMAT OF THE COVER PAGE OF YOUR TECHNICALENGINEERING REPORT INCLUDING THE FRONT COVER OF THE HARDBOUND FINAL REPORT.
