    Detail Descriptionor ConstructionTSJ conductor is an insulated multiconductor composed by bunch-stranded annealedcopper exible conductors, each single

    cord has a thermoplastic insulation of PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) and its protectedby a Nylon sheath, in addition, thewhole multiconductor is protected by athermoplastic insulation of PVC. Designedto operate at not more than 600V, the TSJis manufactured in constructions duplex(two single conductors), triplex (three singleconductors) and quadruplex (four singleconductors), also in sizes from 20 AWG upto 6AWG. Product color identication is the

    following:Duplex: black- whiteTriplex: black-white-redQuadruplex: black-white-red-green

    ApplicationThis product has been designed to operateat no more than 60C in dry or wetconditions. Besides that, the Nylon sheathprovides protection to chemical agents andpetroleum derivatives, therefore this productmight be used for wiring solutions at either industrial or commercial and residentialapplications. Its black pigmentation on the

    external jacket resist the ultraviolet sun lightexposure, thereby, these might be used atoutside or wet applications.

    Standards / TestingSpecications TSJ conductors have been designedaccording to ASTM B172, B174,UL-62 and UL-83 specications andrequirements of the latest version

    of the National Electrical Code (NEC).

    InstallationTSJ are widely used as part of nonpermanent installations as specied at article400 of NEC: Low voltage appliance wiring. Tooling and portable lamps wiring. When its required to feed suspended and

    unhide lamps thru an outlet connector. To feed portable systems.

    As part of non permanent wiring system.Not permitted use and recommendations: In order to substitute outlets wiring for a

    permanent installation. It shall not be installed inside walls,

    suspended oor or roof. It shall not be wire up thru any hole at walls,

    suspended oor or roof. It shall not pass thru doors, windows or

    any opening where it could be damaged bysharp points.

    It shall not be stapled or nail down on thesolid parts of the installation.

    It shall not be tubing in conduit. When used in an electric circuits derivation

    box, its recommended to use suitableconnectors to insure the cable integrity.

    TSJ cannot substitute installation elementswhich need mechanical resistance since it

    is not designed for heavy duty applications.

    It is recommended that the installationinstructions indicated by the Local ElectricCode, or any equivalent, be followed in order to keep persons safe and the integrity of theproduct will not be affected by installationdeciencies. For current ampacity detailsplease refer to NEC table 400-5A, columnaccording to each application.
