Feel the tensionsmelt away as you drive down the road.The lake is Long Pond which is a pristine 100 acre, 120 foot deepspring fed lake complete with loons and beaver fornatural entertainment. The property is on a half acre lot with a sandy beach,two fire pits, 16 foot deck overlooking the lake and sur-rounded by trees for privacy.
On the main level is a bedroom and living room, the open plan kitchen hasgranite tops and stainless appliances including a dual fuel gas cooktop withelectric convection oven. There are 2 eight foot sliders looking out onto the lake and a beautiful stone gas fireplace.There is also a slate walk-in shower on the main floor.Upstairs is an 20 x 28 open space with a stone full bath.There is also a door leading to a wonderful roof deck. This is a place for quiet enjoyment and wonderful relax-ation. Three Kayaks, Sunfish sailboat, canoe and rowboat included. Located on a private road in Northwood New Hampshire,90 minutes from Boston, 20 minutes to Concord, 40 minutes to Portsmouth and the seacoast, 35 minutes to Lake Winnipesaukee, and 1.5 hours the White Mountains. The Property: The cabin is situated on 1/2 acre of wooded land overlooking Long Pond with private beach
and dock. Long Pond is actually a fresh water 100 acre spring fed lake, and 124 feet deep complete with
islands. There are resident beavers, loons and plenty of ducks and turtles. The cabin faces North and West
so you enjoy great evening skies and gentle breezes. The property is set back from the lake so there is plenty
of personal space to sit, relax and enjoy the fresh air and views. And a hammock to fall asleep to the sounds
of nature. There is a gas grill. Great swimming, kayaking, and fishing. The property includes a row boat, 2
kayaks, canoe, sunfish, paddles and some life jackets. There are two fire pits and huge deck overlooking the
lake as well as a roof deck off the upstairs bedroom.
Northwood has all of the amenities near by including 9 lakes, a state park, a mile from the best meat market
in the area, fresh eggs out of 2 refrigerators on the parking lot where you put money in a tin box, and a
Hanaford only 5 miles away. Northwood is known as “Antique Alley”. It is conveniently located 20 minutes to
Concord, 35 minutes to Portsmouth and the ocean, 90 minutes to Boston Logan and 45 minutes to Manchester
Airport, 30 minutes to Lake Winnipesaukee and 60 minutes to the White Mountains. 40 minutes to Gunstock
with an 8000’ zipline in summer. You are away from it all, yet close to everything you need.
The Cabin: MAIN FLOOR: There is a small bedroom on the main floor with a double bed, a beautiful 3/4 bath
with slate floors and walk in stone shower. Kitchen has granite counters, including an eat-on counter with
stools. Stainless appliances including a dual fuel stove (gas cook top and electric convection oven) sectional
couch, desk and chairs, open full kitchen with island. The porch has 16 feet of glass sliders facing the lake,
a large dining table and stone gas fireplace (turned off for the summer). Bamboo flooring. Small bedroom with
double bed. SECOND FLOOR: Large carpeted open plan with king size bed, a bath
with tub, a flat screen TV with DVD player, sitting area with a pull out couch, and
door leading to a roof deck. Towels and Linens available.
2016 RATES: $1300 / week.
$500 refundable deposit due to hold reservation.
All Summer 1-week rentals $500 deposit.
Half due 60 days prior to summer rental. TOTAL due 30 days prior.
PAYMENT: Checks and cash accepted. A deposit is considered immediate with cash or upon check clearing.

*Cancellation Policy: Deposits returned (less $25.00 cancel fee) when cancellation is received at least 4 weeks prior to arrival. For short-
er-term cancellations, if I am able to rebook the time requested, I will rebate all but whatever sum represents the financial loss.
Note: This cabin is my personal home and should be respected as if it were your own. Any damages are the responsibility of
lodgers. The community needs to be respected as well. Dogs have to be on leashes and not left alone. There is a dog run. Excessive
noise at night is not acceptable. Sound travels over water very easily. Michael Travis will be held harmless for any injuries that
occurs andywhere on the property. Any damage to the property is the responsibility of the tenents and guests
