By creasing these two classes, Narcissus Peewee oreatus being the seed parent, our growers have succeeded in obtaining a per-fectly hardy strain of bunch-flowered Nar-cissus. The individual flowers have alt more or less the Poeticise shape and sloe. Resides being hardy, this class has the merit that they have not inherited the strong, disagree-able scent of the Tamils Narcissus. They are equally valuable for bedding and forc-ing. A bed of these Narcissus is simply covered by a dense mass of Hewers. They force extremely easy. This is an entirely new strain and has no similarity with varie-ties of Nat-chums known heretofore. This class was awarded the "Award of Merit" of the Royal Flortieultnral Society in London, April 19, 1904.

We have grown all the varieties listed be-low this last liPS.S011 and exhibited them dur-ing a recent flower show at the "Horticul-tural Hall," Boston, where we received "Honorable Mention" for same. They were absolutely hardy without the slightest pro-tection, and we cannot ton highly recom-mend them.
