Holiday Assembly  

and 

PJ Day!

Did you have fun in the Holiday Assembly on Pajama Day in 

December? It looked like everyone did! Rocking in everything from 

cool Star Wars PJ’s to cozy nightgowns, all the Constable Cubs 

looked ready for a nap. The holiday assembly was very festive! 

With singing and tons of fun, it really ended the 2017 school year 

with a cheerful swing. I was ready to nap for sure! Were you? We 

had so much fun this holiday season. Mrs. Custodio and the 

December Committee put together so many activities for us!

Guest Readers

Sargent Rickle was a guest reader and he came to 

Constable and read to each grade. They read a wonderful 

picture book called Ordinary Mary’s Extraordinary Deed. In this book a girl named Mary did a good deed for her 

neighbor, her neighbor did a good deed for five other 

people. They did a good deed for five other people, etc. 

This book shows that one tiny good deed makes a huge 

difference.  

 

 

 

 

 

  

 

December PTO Food Drive Reflection

Did you donate to the December Food Drive? Thank you 

to all the wonderful families who helped! We donated 

peanut butter, broth, pasta, etc. to the South Brunswick 

Food Pantry. It was a big help! You’ve all made a huge

Student Congress  

 

We made holiday cards for a local nursing home. The 

cards brought holiday wishes and cheer to the residents 

at Brandywine. What a great way to show citizenship to 

our fellow community. 

 

 

 

 

 

Concerts Coming Up!

Winter Concerts are coming up! Do you want to be 

blown away by Wind Symphony? Well, in Wind Symphony 

there are so many instruments. The flutes will flutter you 

away and some classical dancing will appear in your head. 

The trumpets achieve such a deep and rich sound. And we 

couldn’t forget the clarinet’s act. The Strings will also 

strum you away in a whirlpool of calming, purring music. 

Well, if you want to hear these instruments, they will be 

playing on January 17, 2018. Don’t miss the party of 

awesome melodies!
