Customizing a Ready-to-Make Project Use any Ready-to-Make project as a starting point for your project and customize it to make it your own. Step 1 Find a Ready-to-Make project you like, either through the Home Screen or on the Projects Tab from the Canvas. Select a project by clicking on the project photo. Step 2 A window will open with all the project details, including: project name, project description, difficulty level, estimated completion time, materials, instructions, and image costs. Click Customize to modify the design to make it your own.

3. Ready-to-Make™ Projects

C. Customizing a Ready-to-Make Project

Use any Ready-to-Make project as a starting point for your project and customize it to make it your own.

Step 1 Find a Ready-to-Make project you like, either through the Home Screen or on the Projects Tab

from the Canvas. Select a project by clicking on the project photo.

Step 2 A window will open with all the project details, including: project name, project description,

difficulty level, estimated completion time, materials, instructions, and image costs. Click Customize to

modify the design to make it your own.

Step 3 You will be taken to the Canvas. Adjust or add new images to the project as desired.

Step 4 Once your adjustments are complete, click Save to preserve the new design to your My Project

files. Enter a name for your project, then click Save. You will be returned to the Canvas.

Step 5 From the Canvas, click Make It to preview your project.

Step 6 You will be taken to the Mat Preview screen. All pieces of the project will be separated by color

onto different mats. Click Continue to move onto the next screen.

Step 7. Follow the onscreen prompts to set the Smart Set dial, load the cutting mat, and press the Go

button on your machine for each of the mats. You may be prompted to insert pens or scoring tools

depending on the project.
