O Lord Jesus Christ,
Our King and Giver of all good things,
We praise you and we thank you for
building up our Church family here today.
We know that unless you build our house,
we labor in vain.
Therefore, O lord, give us your wisdom, your counsel,
your strength, and your grace to open our hearts to your
will for the growth of our church.
Help us to love what you love and want what you want.
Give us generous hearts for your will.
We ask this in your Holy Name, through the
intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Amen.

Martha’s Meals Ministry Some of you may know about, but not all are aware of a ministry in our parish that has a quiet but powerful impact. “Martha’s Meals” provides meals to our fellow
parishioners following the funeral of a loved one. As part of our mission of hospitality this group of vol-unteers prepares and serves a meal for family and friends in the Family Life Center or delivered to their home. If you would like to join a team or want additional information, please contact Teri Tribby at (501) 225-6774 or email [email protected].

The Solemnity of Pentecost marks the gift of the Holy Spirit
to those God the Father calls to be His own. Perhaps you
can think of someone who longs for a relationship with our
Heavenly Father. Plant the seeds of hope, by inviting that
person to RCIA. For more information, please contact Greg
Donaldson at [email protected] or 225-6774, ext. 284.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a journey
to conversion. This is the process by which those never
baptized or those baptized in another Christian tradition be-
come members of the church.

Registration for Christ the King Mother's Day Out 2018-2019
school year is now open!
We are a pre-academic program for children 18 months through 3 years of age, which meets 9:15 am – 2:15 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, September through May. We focus on learning through play, with each class-room set up with a variety of centers, both independent and guided. The centers target all areas of development: cognitive, physical, creative, social-emotional and spiritual. Center activities, combined with a healthy dose of outdoor play, circle time and story time make up our morn-ings. Children eat a lunch from home, followed by rest time. Our days begin and end with prayer, and classroom themes and activities follow the liturgical calen-dar. Registration forms are available in the nursery and on the parish website, http://www.church.ctklr.org/nursery-
mother-s-day-out
For additional information, or to schedule a tour, please call 225-0711, or e-mail Katherine at [email protected].
We are looking for parishioners (must be in 9th grade or older during the 18/19 school year) to help serve our parish by working in the Nursery Ministry. We are open during every weekend Mass, as well as special events throughout the year that are held at Christ the King. To apply, please contact Katherine Mentzer at [email protected]. You may also stop by the nursery after any Mass to pick up an ap-
plication.
