II. INTRODUCTIONThe word church in the Bible comes from the Greek word

ecclesia, which means a called out company or assembly. Wherever it is used in the Bible it refers to people.

III.CALLED OUT Called Out by Jesus

Hebrews 9:1515 For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

John 10:33 "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

Romans 1:66 among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ;

Romans 8:3030 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.

Galatians 1:66 I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel;

Philippians 3:1414 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

2 Thessalonians 2:1414 It was for this He called you through our gospel, that you may gain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 3:11 Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession;

Called Out of the World

Called to God

IV.TO BE TRANSFORMEDRomans 12:2 New King James Version (NKJV)

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:2 New Life Version (NLV)2 Do not act like the sinful people of the world. Let God change your life. First of all, let Him give you a new mind. Then you will know what God wants you to do. And the things you do will be good and pleasing and perfect.
