The rainforest is important to the ecosystem. It is the home to unique animals and plants. It also helps stabilize the world’s climate. Yet, they are in danger. You are being hired by as an expert to travel to the rainforest to research and gather photos of your animal to tell the importance of saving the rain forest.Intro Task Process Evaluation Conclusion

You began your journey be researching your animal for your classroom written report with me in the tech lab. Now it is be time to locate photos of your animal. Your task is to create a Power Point presentation to present your animal using facts and the photos collected. Your slides can be created in a riddle, multiple choice, true false or a combination format. You will also need to tell why the rainforest is important to your animal. You will need to provide the following within your interactive Power Point presentation:

1. At least 3 questions (multiple choice, true/false, riddle, or combination) about your animal.

2. Your questions will need to be hyperlinked to the correct answers.

3. At least 3-5 photos of your animal. 4. A background design also changing the font, its color,

and size.

First, you and your partner will need to look at your research and decide the layout of your presentation. You will use the story board provided to help .

Pick the design and color of your background, font, font color, and

Next, you will need to visit www.flickr.com and www.goodsearch.com to gather photos.

Flickr Go to the search area, type in a

keyword(s).Click Search. Beside the search button, click the Advanced Search link.

Make sure to check the box by Photos/Videos and scroll to the bottom clicking Only within Creative Commons.

Click Search. Choose a picture by clicking on it.

Once you find a picture, make sure it is okay to use it. Look for the Copyright symbol.

Don’t forget to cite your picture to give the photographer credit for their work.

Goodsearch Remember when searching the internet to be

safe as I have taught you. We use this search engine to keep you safe, but do not give personal information or passwords to anyone.

Go to www.goodsearch.com. Click on the Images link to narrow your

search. Type in your animal and click Search.

Click on the photo to see if it is copyrighted.

If it is okay, right click on the image and click on Save Image As and give it a name.

In the Power Point, click on Insert then Picture.
