Using Google Forms
What are Google Forms?
They are web basedThey are completely customizable
They create the spreadsheet that organizes any data submitted to the form!
How Do You Do It?
Sign in to your AISD email account
Click “Drive”Click the big red “Create” button
Now click “Form”Or you can create a spreadsheet and then create the form from it.
Steps to making a Form
TitleEdit the two Sample QuestionsAdd questions as you see fitSaveView spreadsheetGo to “Forms” and click view live formFill it out and check your responses on the
spreadsheetEdit the form if necessary
Watch out for these!
If someone picks or enters a range of numbers the spreadsheet will turn it into a date Ex: if you pick 1-5 then the
spreadsheet will make it 1/5/2012. (Annoying!)
If you change the order of questions they will not change order in the spreadsheet.
Use the provided “Other” response so that people will be able to enter their own response.
Now it is up to you…
You will now create a series of questions that will meet your needs
Use the different response types correctly!Ask Lots of questions from me.Share with people.Look at your data! (Under the forms menu

Scripts
There are scripts for everything! Some are easy to use so do not be afraid! Some of my faves:
Flubaroo: Will grade assignments for you. Jim Cook will give a class on this.
autoCrat: This will email responses to students and create form letters for you.
