Creatine is taken by sports athletes, bodybuilders, and teenagers
What is it?
Creatine Monohydrate is a supplement intended to enhance muscles.
Comes in either a pill or powder form.
When is it used and when did it come around?
Used daily after a workout. Discovered in 1832, but in 1923 it was
discovered to be in 95% of muscle tissues.
Why is it used?
Creatine is used to boost strength Increase fat free mass Improve muscular development Increase anaerobic power and
performance Used as an indirect fat burner
Where is it used?
Used by athletes and bodybuilders in the gym or after training.
Where in the body? It is naturally produced in the liver, pancreas and kidneys and transported to the body’s muscle through the bloodstream.

How to take creatine
Week 1- Loading phase: 25g of creatine monohydrate for the first week
Week 2-4: 5g of creatine monohydrate
