Why is it important to have a variety of living things in the bay?It is important to have a variety of living things

in the bay. The soft shell clams are Important to the bay because they dissolve bad things. Zooplankton are important to the bay because they are a part of the food chain. Toadfish are important to the bay because other animals depend on they. My research will show that Soft shell clams ,zooplankton ,and toad fish are important to the bay.

After soft shell clams dissolve the bad things in the bay they spit out clean water. Soft shell clams are food for other animals. Soft shell clams are filter feeders. Soft shell clams feed on dead things. Soft shell clams are scavengers.
