There is no pediatric help in the villages.

The current Palestinian government does not take enough care about the health of their old people.

There is no geriatric care.

In general, Palestine villages lack doctors and medical care for the inhabitants.

A nearest doctor can be found at the nearest town.

But many roads are closed in the Judea and Samaria because of security problems. That is why sick people cannot be transported to hospitals.

In these cases, Physicians for human rights in Israel can help.

Physicians for Human Rights-Israel (PHR-Israel) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that promotes a society in which the right to health is applied equally for all.

Simply speaking, if we control the territories, we are responsible for health care there.

Medical treatment at PHR clinics as a response to basic health needs where Palestinian government fails to respond or take responsibility.

PHR was established in 1988, during the early months of the first Palestinian Intifada. The organization was initiated by Dr. Ruchama Marton and a group of Jewish and Palestinian physicians from Israel.
