Prado Day Center
We came to Prado asking about the homeless situation and what could be done to help. They let us know that they do not have warm breakfast’s and that we can help with that. They also asked us to clean their sheds.
We fundraised $150 with a school organization by contacting Santa Cruz Taqueria, Boba Stop, and by selling succulents.
The ProcessAfter fundraising we went to Costco and prepared to make 75 burritos.
On veterans day we woke at 5:00am and made burritos and realized that we had bought too many supplies and ended up making 120 servings.
We arrived at the center at 8:00 and began to distribute.
The Process continued
It’s nice that you want to serve food to make yourself feel better
about helping.
