General information Chimpanzees fit into the mammals

group. A chimpanzees scientific name is troglodytes. The chimpanzees life span is up to 60 years.

Physical Characteristics

A chimpanzees fur is black. Chimpanzees weight 60 -150 lbs and it is as tall 28-36. They use there hands to make tools.

Habitat

Chimpanzees live at the Guinea east to Gonads and south of the lake Tanganyika and Congo river.

Behaviors Chimpanzees eat fruit shoots roots

stems flowers leaves eggs and animal mater. Chimpanzees roam there territory for food. They give birth to there young. Chimpanzees can have up to 2 babies.

Interesting facts

Chimpanzees use tools. Chimpanzees stay with there young

for 10 years. Chimpanzees fight with rocks and

sticks.
