Smart board The SMART board, developed by the SMART Technologies

ULC, is a product of 20+ years of classroom innovation. What was once considered “The Future of technology in the classroom” is now a reality. We see teachers using SMART boards all over the country, even in our own classrooms here at the U of A, to interact with the students and introduce them to technology they will be continuing to see grow for years to come.

The SMART board has taken the teaching benefits that the chalkboard and white board provided, and mixed them with the technological advances that are inevitably our world’s future. The use of technology in the classroom in unavoidable and meant to be embraced and The SMART board provides a strong starting block to support this embrace.
