Reflection Questions1. How can intrinsic techniques serve to
motivate learners?2. How can celebrating successes in a school
motivate learners?3. How does appealing to the 7 factors of
intrinsic motivation serve to motivate learners?
4. How do high expectations improve schools?
Comments on Reflection QuestionsIntrinsic techniques require us to recognize the
motivational desires of each individual. When success occurs, the highlighting of those successes strengthens the trust in the relationship between students and teachers. By strengthening the relationship, the teacher easily recognizes the factor to which each student responds. Students are motivated based on their inner feelings to which the teacher has appealed. High expectations set the tone and is the real key that makes students more aware of their true ability to learn.
