The book thief was based on a true story that’s was written by a young girl in the holocaust.
The young girls mother was a Jew & had to be separated from her mother or else she would be killed.
On the way to her new home she suffers from the lose of her young brother.
At first she had no idea what kind of things where going on between Nazi.
She had no experience with reading and writing until her new father taught her the words and letters of the alphabet.
The family's past helped Jews, and the father swore to help the son of the family friend.
When the times came to help, the secret was hard to keep, but was dramatically hidden.
The wise word from the girl where deep & the most inspiring line was when she said to her father ‘it wasn’t always mine’. (talking about a book found at her brothers funeral. A book that she had kept but didn’t know how to read in till further on.

In my option the book thief is one of the best movies about the holocaust. The words and emotional that are put into film touched many hearts in the audience. I have never seem a film so interesting and worth my time to actually sit and watch the full film. Its my favorite because this movie has inspired and intertied me.
