Pepsi was established in the year 1898, with the name Pepsi-Cola. It was invented by Caleb Bradham in North Carolina. First naming it “Brad’s Drink”

The first Pepsi cola company was in 1902….in the back room of Caleb’s (Pepsi cola founder) pharmacy (North Carolina)!!! He got the trade mark from the U.S Patent Office. He mixed the syrup himself and sold them. He named it Pepsi Cola after people started naming it themselves…calling it Brads Drink. His pharmacy:

The countries your TNC is located

Pepsi is located in more than 190 countries around the world! It includes countries from North America until countries in the middle east. One smart thing that they do is write “pepsi” on the can in the languages depending on where they serve it.

The first production site

In 1903 just making Pepsi in the back of Bradham’s pharmacy wasn’t enough! He rented a company and stayed in it for a year until it became his home. It is Bishops factory, in New Bern.

Role of technology

Pepsi has taken big advantage of technology. One thing they are doing today is sponsoring the X Factor. They have also been doing some commercials in other languages. They also created their own page on facebook and got over 9 million likes!

Why do you believe this global brand has been successful while others have not?

I think this brand has been more successful than other brands because it started a long time ago, and at that time it was something brand new to everyone so it became very famous around the world in a short time. They also used a lot of famous people like models, singers, and football players to advertise their products. By using famous people to advertise their products, it leads to more people buying the product since some of them are fans. The pepsi-cola brand is mostly based on what's trendy or new. The logo might have changed a lot over time, but its theme or design has stayed the same that everyone can still relate to it (pepsi).
