• People are buying merchandise.

• If people are coming to see someone play, then they should get at least a little money.

• The coaches and administrators get big bucks, the players should too.

• As far as the players are concerned, the sport is their job.

• The players spend all their time at practice and have no time to get a job. (that is if they could find one that is willing to work with their schedule)

• No job, No money. Not everyone has as many luxuries as others, for some people the only way they are in collage is through a scholarship.

• Paying the athletes will take away from school funding.

• Some schools might not have as much money as others.

• Its not fair to the other clubs who will lose that money to sports.

• Who gets paid what? Does the third-string linebacker get the same as the star quarterback?
