• The grey wolf’s has a huge impact on the environment and other species in its habitat. They carry disease and they are a common host for rabies. They also are a source of parasites.

• The article “Grey wolf restoration in the northwestern United States” by Ed Bangs states many different characteristics of the species. It states that sixty years after being exterminated from the lower 48 states, The Grey wolf was listed under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) in 1979. The wolf is very common and similar to a dog.

• The wildlife adoption and gift center says to adopt a grey bear could range from $25-$250 depending on the size

• What you get for adopting the species is a grey wolf plush, certificate of adoption, and a grey wolf screensaver.

-The front paws are large than hind ones and have a fifth digit.

-Their height varies from 0.6 to 0.9 meters at the shoulder and they weigh from 25 to 65 kg.

-Gestation period take 60 to 63 days and pups are born deaf and blind.

-Coloration varies from grey to grey-brown, all the way through the canine spectrum of white, red, brown, and black.
