Microsoft Word is used primarily to write letters, papers, resumes, or to create memos, letterhead or simple flyers.

Word has many uses in all fields of work, but especially in business, law, and medical professions to create legal documents or legal agreements.

Office Word 2007 has a compatibility mode to allow users to create a document that can be viewed in older Microsoft Word programs.

Microsoft Excel can be used to create charts, graphs, and mathematical formulas.

These are the types of graphs available in excel. These graphs are found under the “Insert” button on the toolbar.

Excel has many uses in most career fields but it is especially useful for business owners, accountants, financial analysts, economists, and any other field that needs to plot and track numbers and progress over time or to compute reports.

Microsoft PowerPoint is useful to create presentations for public speaking or to create fancy flyers or handouts.

A PowerPoint slide can be published into an Adobe file and printed as a full-page document. This is useful for flyers or handouts

PowerPoint is can be used in all fields of work, but it is especially helpful for business owners, analyst, managers,

and teachers.

A PowerPoint presentation can be printed with 1 slide per page or up to 6 slides per page. This feature is useful for successful presentations to allow participates to read along, take notes.

It also allows users to include pictures, movies, and sound clips.
