Once upon a time there was a farmer that had two sons, who worked hard for him everyday.

the younger son goes to father and said, “Dad, I want you to give me my share of the money.” The father, of course being a kind man said, “Of course, here you go.”

One day,

So the son went off to a far away city to spend the money. But he spent so much of it that he ended out with no money at all, and because he didn’t have a job he could do nothing about it. So the younger son went of to find a job in the city…

that he decided to eat some of the pigs food, but immediately spat it out. It was disgusting! How could the animals eat this?

…and he found one at a farm, he thought he would be good at the job because he was a farmers son. But alas the son was wrong and what’s more, the son barely got anything to eat. One day he got so hungry

The son was fed up. He decided to go home because he had realised that his fathers servants got better and more food than him. So he said himself, “I shall go home and beg my father to make me his servant so that I can repay the dept.”…

He went running down the hill shouting, “Father! Father!”.

When he got there he saw his father waiting by the gate to the farm. His father was so happy to see him that he ran up to him and gave him the biggest hug you could ever imagine!Then the son knelt down and begged his father to make him a servant, but his father just said, “No, no, no.” Then he shouted over to his servants and said to get his son the best room in the house.

…so that’s what he did!

Modern Life

This relates to modern life in a way that if you have a friend, and behind their back do something they would not like. You go back to them thinking they will hate you forever but they forgive you instead, they even give you a party! You would be very surprised and very happy.
