Atmosphere

Definition of Atmosphere: The envelope of gases surrounding the earth or another planet

Greenhouse Effect

The Greenhouse effect is changing the climate quite a bit.without any greenhouse effect, most -- maybe all -- the planet would be below freezing.the question is, "is our climate is changing, and that it is changing because of the activities we do to cause it.

How the Atmosphere formed

It took two billion years to create the atmosphere. Ozone formed to protect the surface of the earth from ultraviolet rays. Once plants moved on land more oxygen was released into the atmosphere allowing the evolution.

Magnetic FieldsDefinition of Magnetic Fields: A region around a magnetic material or a moving electric charge within which the force of magnetism acts.

Magnetic fields and sun rays

The Earth's magnetic Field acts as a shield to protect the earth from dangerous charged particles from the sun and other sources.

Sunspots and the climate change

Though ultraviolet radiation makes very little contribution to the total energy that comes from the sun, changes in this type of radiation can have a large effect on the earth's atmosphere.

Convection currents

Define convection currents: Convection is the movement of molecules within fluids. It cannot take place in solids, since neither bulk current flows or significant diffusion can take place in solids.

Definitions

Define Conveyer belts: A belt used to carry materials and transmit the power required to move the load being conveyed.

Define Air The invisible gaseous substance surrounding the earth, a mixture mainly of oxygen and nitrogen.

Define MagmaHot fluid or semi fluid material below or within the earth's crust from which lava and other igneous rock is formed by cooling.

Season caused by.

The earth tilts which cause the sun to go to it’s highest peak which cause the

season and climate to change yearly.

Ocean’s conveyer Belts effect

Ocean’s conveyer refers to as a large scale ocean circulation that is then dived by global density gradients.

MilanKovitch CycleMilanKovitch Cycle describes as the collective effects of changes to Earth’s movements of it’s climate.

Earth’s energy cycle-albedo Among the great number of variables that influence the earth's conditions a very basic one stands out - the earth’s reflectance of solar radiation, also called albedo.
