What im gonna explain to you?Parts of PlantsHow they workProcessesDifferent types of pollinationDifferent Activities:GamesActivitiesQuestions & AnswersPlants has got different parts. They are:-Reproductive organs-Nutrition parts

Parts of plants

The main nutritive parts are:-Stem-Leaves-Roots

Nutrition PARTSThe stem takes and storages nutrients that roots recolected. It gives the nutrients to all the plant. The stem also support the fruit, leaves and flowers. The Stem

Roots are the most importantparts of each plant. They takedifferent nutrients and water from the soil. They also give support to the plant.

rootsLeaves take the carbon dioxide and sunlight to mix it with nutrients and water to make food.

leavesPlants perform photosyntesis to give food to all the plants body:1st: Roots take the nutrients.2nd: Nutrients pass to the stem. This mixture is called raw sap.3rd: Leaves take carbon dioxide (CO2) and sunlight and mix it with the raw sap to make elaborated sap.4th: Elaborated sap passes to the stem to feed all the plant.

ProCess : photosyntesisDuring the night, plants take oxygen and expel carbon dioxide. Process : Plant RESPIRATION

Plants reproductive ORGANS And how they workFlowers have all the reproductive organs of the plant:-Pistil-Corolla-Calyx-Stamen

flowersThe calyx is made up of a lot of sepals. They protect the petals and the inner parts of the flower.

CalyxThe corolla is made up of petals. It also attracts insects in order to pollinate the flower.

CorollaPistil is the female organ of the plant. It has three parts:-Stigma: Its where pollen grains enter.-Style: Its where pollen travels to the ovary.-Ovary: Its full of ovules and is where pollen and the ovule join to germinate the seed with the fruit.

PistilThe stamen is the male part of the plant. It has two parts:-Filament: It supports the anther.-Anther: Its where the pollen grains are.

StamenTypes of pollinationPollination and cross-pollination pollinationThis type of pollination is the most standard; normal pollination. When the wind blows, pollen travels with it and some pollen grains fall inside other plants pistil. This process is called Pollination. Cross-pollinationIn this type of pollination, insects are attracted by the petals. When they are on the flower, pollen sticks to their feet. When they fly away, some pollen falls from their feet to the flowers pistil. This process is called Cross-pollination. ActivitiesQuizes (A LOT OF QUESTIONS!! DON'T BE BORED!!)
