CITY OFFICIAL ENDORSES A-I-M Says it Should Be Used By Every Person Advancing in Age. "IT PROLONCS LIFE" The following statement, coming from a prominent city official of Salem, Va., bears weight in that it comes from one whose position demands the truth at all times. Read what he says: "I have tried Acid Iron Mineral and can highly recommend it as a constitution builder and general health restorer. I believe every person of advanced age should take Acid Iron Mineral, and that it will prolong t.heil* life. T Havn al«n fnnn/l if >m.«. ,cijr valuable in stopping blood and healing sores," says Mr. F. G. Webber, chief of police and superintendent water works, Salem, Virginia. Men prominent in public life do not make a habit of praising medicines. Rather they condemn them. And in, that Acid Iron Mineral has proved su efficient as to win the praise of Chief Webber is indeed a triumph for this wonderful preparation of nature's. Acid Iron Mineral is not a patent medicine. The chemist has been un« able to imitate or reproduce it. It is obtained from the only natural medicinal iron mineral deposit of its kind' known to the world. For creating appetite, increasing weight, purifying the blood, building up weak, anaemic people, and restoring weak vital organs to normal it is of exceptional merit. Many doctors prescribe it. The 31st of July closes our associational year, and there is a month to make out a full report of each church, and of this please let me stress the importance, to each church clerk, of so doing. The association makes history. Historical societies, Baptist year books, the State and, Southern conventions seek statistics, etc., here, and the association cannot furnish everything, unless it is furnished by the local churches, so* I beg every church clerk to make out a full, neat, careful report, with all columns totalled, and grand totalled.this helps the committee, and association clerk. and let it not be the "smallest" thing before you. May I ask the pastors to aid their clerks. I will send out blanks to the clerks direct, or through pastors, where clerks are not readily known. If you do not get a blank soon, please notify me. It is desired to have the report ready at the first of the meeting. Also, I trust the appointees on standing committees, know their places and will be ready with reports. If you do not remember, please al- low me to suggest that everybody consult the last minutes. E. W. Jeter, Associational Clerk. Girls Have Pretty Face And Beautiful Complexion An Atlanta man makes new discovery that makes an old face look years younger. If your skin is dark, brown, or covered with freckles or blemishes, just use a little Coco-tone Skin Whitener; it's made with cocoanut oil and is perfectly harmless. A few days' use will improve your looks 100%. The wornout skin comes off evenly, leaving no evidence of the treatment, the new healthy under-skin appearing as a lovely new complexion. Just ask your druggist for an ounce of Cocotone Skin Whitener, and if hp will not supply you send twenty-five cents to The Cocotone Co., Atlanta, Ga., and they will send you a box by return mail. If your hair is hard to comb, is kinky, nappy and will never stay straight, just use Cocotone Hair Dressing and it will become straight, long, soft, glossy and beautiful in a few days mail orders filled 25c for large box. At first glance it could be seen that it was not a common or garden va iety of automobile, for it was "cut lown," and had wire wheels with a spotless white body ajul an extra tire esting comfortably behind, but the iinish of the car was not its chief fame :o glory yesterday afternoon. The cargo made it noteworthy. In a small machine the pay roll was taken to Camp Jackson yesterday, $*106,000 in flour sacks and money bays. One sack was filled with currency, notes ranging from $20 to $1 and the others were heavy with silver coins. Inquiry as to where it would be kept during the night brought the information "Right in the middle of 20 sentries with the guard house and reinforcements just across the street."
